March has been a whirlwind for Apple: we’ve seen the MacBook Neo and said goodbye to the Mac Pro. But this is just a warm-up, as the main surprises are yet to come. The company is preparing a real revolution for our pockets and homes, which is already the talk of the tech world

This is according to 9to5mac.

The main highlight of the coming season is the first foldable iPhone. It is a device with a huge 7.7-inch internal screen, which will rival the iPad in terms of capabilities. In addition, the iPhone 18 Pro range will feature a space-grade camera with a variable aperture and an A20 Pro chip, making the smartphone more powerful than many laptops. Apple is also adding support for Apple Intelligence to all new devices, making Siri truly smart and personalised.

Changes are coming to our homes too. The Cupertino-based company is developing a completely new smart home hub — a desktop or wall-mounted tablet with FaceTime that will control all your devices. It will include a security camera and a doorbell that recognises the owners via Face ID. Even the compact iPad mini will finally get an OLED display and a waterproof casing, making it the perfect travel companion.

Towards the end of the year, another surprise awaits us — the first MacBook Pro with an OLED screen and touch controls. Apple is gradually blurring the line between computers and tablets by introducing Dynamic Island even to laptops. This year promises to be the most exciting in the company’s history, as every gadget becomes not just a tool, but part of a smart ecosystem that understands us at a glance
