Court refuses to release NABU detective Gusarov from custody
The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of the capital refused to release National Anti-Corruption Bureau detective Viktor Husarov from custody. The hearing took place with a delay, after which Judge Oleksii Hlyanck decided not to change the preventive measure.
Husarov was remanded in custody without the right to post bail. Law enforcement agencies emphasize that the risks of obstructing the investigation remain high, and the decision to arrest was made considering the nature of the suspicion.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, the detainee worked in the closed unit "D-2" of the Central Office of NABU and allegedly transmitted data about Ukrainian law enforcement officers and civilians to the Russian special services, who could become targets for terrorist acts and influence operations. The security service claims that Husarov was part of the enemy's agent network, which included at least three other individuals previously exposed.
The court emphasized that at this stage of the investigation, there are no grounds to change the preventive measure.
