Over the past 24 hours, 237 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Russian troops were most active in the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole and Lyman sectors.

The 1,575th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 237 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past 24 hours.

According to updated figures, Russian forces carried out 94 air strikes and dropped 287 guided bombs. The enemy also deployed 9,872 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,800 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

The settlements of Sukhodil, Luzhky, Mala Slobidka and Ulanove in the Sumy region were targeted by air strikes.

At the same time, the Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck eleven areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, three artillery systems and one command post.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out four air strikes using nine guided bombs and carried out 49 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, six attacks were recorded in the areas of Okhrimivka, Hraniv, Izbytske and Zybine. In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four attempts by the enemy to advance towards Podoly and Borivska Andriivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops made twenty attempts to breach defences near Zarichne, Andriivka, Drobyshove, Lyman, Dibrova and Ozerny, as well as in the directions of Shyikivka, Novoyegorivka and Tverdokhlibove.

In the Sloviansk sector, thirteen assaults took place in the areas of Kaleniky, Zakitne and in the directions of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, Mykolaivka and Rai Oleksandrivka. Near Chasovyi Yar on the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy carried out one assault.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers carried out fifteen attacks near Kleban Byk, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka and in the directions of Kostiantynivka, Mykolaipillia and Dovha Balka.

The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled forty enemy assaults in the areas of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne and in the directions of Dorozhne, Vasylivka, Filiya, Novy Shakhovy, Vilne, Kucherov Yar, Bilytske, Nikanorivka and Novy Donbas.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops launched two attacks near Vorone. On the Huliaipole sector, 29 attacks were recorded in the areas of Rybne, Solodke, Luhivske, Novoselivka and in the directions of Dobropillia, Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove and Charivne.

On the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian units repelled five attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Stepove and Mali Shcherbakiv. On the Dnipro sector, Russian troops did not carry out any active operations.

According to the General Staff, the Russian army’s losses over the past 24 hours amounted to 1,260 servicemen. Seven tanks, seven armoured fighting vehicles, 51 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, ten ground-based robotic systems, 2,052 drones, 486 vehicles and three pieces of specialised equipment were neutralised.
