The Ministry of Internal Affairs’ ‘Payment Hub’: how the new system for paying for services will work
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has launched a single online system, the ‘Payment Hub’, for paying for services provided by service centres.
At present, the new online system can be used to pay for vehicle registration procedures, and there are plans to extend it to all services provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ service centres in the future.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has launched a unified online system called ‘Payment Hub’ for paying for services provided by service centres. The new system is designed to simplify the payment process, automatically calculate the required payments and reduce the risk of errors.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced the launch of the service.

How the ‘Payment Hub’ works

The ‘Payment Hub’ centrally processes payments for administrative services, fines and mandatory state fees associated with receiving services from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The system can also be used to pay certain taxes and fees if these are required to process the relevant service.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported that the online system has already successfully passed testing.

Which services are already available

At present, the ‘Payment Hub’ can be used to pay for vehicle registration procedures.

The Ministry has indicated that it plans to extend the system to cover all services provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ service centres in the future.

How to make a payment

The payment procedure consists of several steps.

First, a service centre administrator generates a single payment document containing the necessary details.

The customer then simply scans the QR code and confirms the payment via their bank’s app.

At the same time, it is still possible to pay for services at any bank branch.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that the ‘Payment Hub’ automatically calculates the amounts of state fees and taxes. This helps to avoid errors when processing payments.

Furthermore, when buying or selling a vehicle, the system automatically allocates payments between the seller and the buyer, making the settlement process more transparent.

The launch of the unified payment system is expected to reduce the time taken to process documents at the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ service centres, minimise errors during payment and make the procedure clearer for the public.

For the time being, the new system applies only to vehicle-related transactions; however, there are plans to extend a similar mechanism to all administrative services provided by service centres in the future.
