Drone ‘attack’ in Sweden
The Russian Embassy in Sweden reported that, on the night of 2 July, it was ‘attacked’ by two quadcopters. One of them dropped a container of red paint onto the embassy grounds, whilst the other, with a mock-up of a homemade explosive device attached, crashed near the embassy building.

The Russian Embassy reported this on social media.

The Russians describe this as an attempt to intimidate embassy staff and say that there have been dozens of such incidents over the past two years. They also accuse the Swedish police of ‘merely going through the motions of recording attacks on the Russian embassy’, whilst failing to produce any results from their investigations.

The Russian Embassy in Sweden reported a similar incident last year. On the night of 25 May, a quadcopter dropped a glass container filled with red paint onto the forecourt in front of the embassy entrance.
