There were 228 combat engagements on the front line over the past 24 hours
The 1,574th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 228 combat engagements were recorded on the front line over the past 24 hours.
Russian troops launched two missile strikes using 74 missiles, and carried out 82 air strikes, dropping 226 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 9,297 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,726 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, 49 of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces and artillery struck six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and six drone control centres.
Three enemy assaults were recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian forces also carried out 56 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including one using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy launched five attacks in the direction of Starytsia, Izbytske, Vilcha, Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance four times in the areas of Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, Kurylivka and Podoly.
In the Lyman sector, Russian troops carried out 23 attacks near Zarichne, Lyman, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Dibrova, Novomykhailivka, Novoyegorivka, Ozerny and Yampil.
In the Sloviansk sector, 12 assaults were recorded in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the areas of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, Zakytne and Kaleniky.
There were no offensive actions in the Kramatorsk sector.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 12 attacks in the areas of Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Vilne, and in the direction of Bilytske, Novoselivka and Kostiantynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 25 enemy assaults near Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Zatyshche, Shevchenko, Myrne, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Muravka and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched four attacks in the direction of Novoselivka, Kalynivske, Vyshneve and Oleksandrohrad.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 22 attacks in the direction of Zlagoda, Dobropillia, Radisne, Rivnopillia, Vozdvizhivka, Huliaipole, Dolynka, Verkhnia Tersa, Ternuvate, Shyroke and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attempted advances near Pavlivka, Stepnogorsk and Stepove.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy attacked in the direction of Antonivka.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups have been detected.
According to the General Staff, Russian forces suffered 1,230 casualties over the past 24 hours. One tank, five armoured fighting vehicles, 36 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, seven air defence systems, three ground-based robotic systems, 2,062 drones, 50 missiles, 417 vehicles and four pieces of specialist equipment.
