Russia lost 1,230 troops and seven air defence systems on the front line over the past 24 hours

Russian military casualties in the war against Ukraine have risen by a further 1,230 soldiers over the past 24 hours. The Defence Forces have also destroyed seven air defence systems and dozens of other pieces of equipment.

Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from 24 February 2022 to 16 June 2026, amount to approximately 1,385,420 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Federation’s army has suffered losses of 1,230 personnel.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 12,026 tanks have also been destroyed, including one in the last 24 hours, 24,768 armoured fighting vehicles, five of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours, and 44,118 artillery systems. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 36 artillery systems.

In addition, Russian losses amount to 1,872 multiple launch rocket systems, including two in the last 24 hours, and 1,427 air defence systems, seven of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours.

Since the start of the invasion, Russia has lost 436 aircraft and 353 helicopters. A further 1,667 ground-based robotic systems have been destroyed, including three in the past 24 hours.

The number of operational-tactical-level drones lost has reached 353,541. Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces have destroyed 2,062 such UAVs. A further 4,783 cruise missiles have been destroyed, 50 of them in the last 24 hours.

The Russian Navy’s total losses amount to 33 ships and boats, as well as two submarines.

In addition, the Russian army has lost 107,508 vehicles and tankers. Over the past 24 hours, this figure has risen by 417 units. Losses of specialised equipment amount to 4,300 units, four of which were destroyed over the past 24 hours.

The General Staff noted that the figures provided are subject to revision.
