In "Diia" they implemented online replacement of the technical passport

Ministry of Digital Transformation launched a new service in the "Diia" app: Ukrainians can register and replace their vehicle technical passport entirely online.

If you have lost or damaged a document, changed license plates or personal data, or simply want to switch from plastic to digital or vice versa — order a new technical passport in Diia.

How to use the service:

In the Diia app, go to Services → Driver → Replacement of the technical passport or through the document menu.
Specify the reason for the replacement.
If necessary, select new license plates.
Choose the type of technical passport: digital or digital + plastic.
Indicate the delivery method: Ukrposhta branch or courier.
Confirm or update contact details.
Sign the application and make the payment within 24 hours.

To use the service, you must be authorized in the Diia app.

The service is available if:

you are 18 years or older;
you have a TIN (tax number) in Diia;
the Diia app contains a biometric document: passport or residence permit;
you are the owner of the vehicle, and the registration certificate is already in Diia.

Note! In case of changes to the vehicle's technical characteristics (engine volume, fuel type, etc.), you need to contact the MVS service center.
