Ukrainians are in for an ‘interesting’ weather situation: how the weather will change and where rain is likely
On 18 March, cloudy weather will prevail across Ukraine
The weather in Ukraine on 18 March will depend on the clash between a high-pressure system on one side and moist air on the other. Temperatures are also expected to vary considerably.

This has been reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.

According to the forecast, the weather situation in Ukraine on 18 March will be ‘interesting’.

Specifically, pressure will rise in the lower layers of the atmosphere, and the influence of an anticyclone from the north will spread towards us.

Meanwhile, at higher altitudes, the influence of a low-pressure system from the Black Sea will increase, leading to:

  • overcast skies;
  • light rain in places on the Left Bank (with wet snow at night).

What will happen to air temperatures in Ukraine

Experts at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre have reported that a cold air mass will be over Ukraine tomorrow.

It is noted that its influence will be particularly noticeable during the day.

Overall, the weather will be cloudy. The wind will be north-easterly, with speeds of 5–10 m/s.

The average air temperature across Ukraine on 18 March is expected to be as follows:

  • at night – from 3 degrees above zero to 2 degrees below zero;
  • during the day – around 4–9 degrees above zero.

It will be warmest during the day in Zakarpattia – up to 10–15 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, in the south-eastern part of Ukraine, the forecast is:
