The state postal operator Ukrposhta plans to launch a new service, Ukrposhta.Apteka, by the end of March 2026, which will allow customers to order and receive medicines in all settlements where the company's branches operate.

This was announced by Igor Smelyansky, CEO of Ukrposhta.

The service will cover about 26,000 towns and villages in Ukraine served by the national postal operator. Medicines can be ordered via the website, call centre or directly at the post office. After placing an order, the medicines will be delivered to customers at stationary or mobile post offices.

At the same time, medicines will not be stored in post offices. They will be delivered to specific orders in compliance with transportation and temperature requirements.

To ensure the quality of transportation, Ukrposhta is purchasing special equipment, including temperature loggers, thermal bags, cooling and heating elements, and other means of controlling the storage conditions of medicines.

According to the company's CEO, the launch of the pharmacy service is part of Ukrposhta's transformation into a multifunctional service centre for citizens.

He also reported that at the end of the fourth quarter of 2025, the company received a net profit of UAH 257.9 million, which is more than 69% higher than in the same period of 2024.
