Ukrainians can apply for childcare assistance for children under one year of age and the "eYasla" payment. The Ministry of Social Policy explained the procedure for submitting an application and opening a special account.

This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity on its Facebook page.

Ukraine continues to pay social assistance to families with children. In particular, parents can receive assistance for caring for a child under one year of age, as well as the "eYasla" payment.

The Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity explained how to apply for these payments and open a special account to receive the funds.

To apply for assistance, you must submit a written application for the appointment of a payment for the care of a child under one year of age or "eYasla". This can be done at the nearest service centre of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Centre for Administrative Services or in the local community.

After submitting the application, the Pension Fund of Ukraine processes the documents and transfers the data to Oschadbank.

The bank opens a special account for receiving social payments. After that, the applicant receives a notification about the opening of a special account and the transfer of funds.

Once the money has been received, you need to go to a bank branch and obtain a bank card.

To do this, you must have your passport and identification code with you.

The agency noted that no additional certificates are required to obtain a card. It

is also reported that from 1 January 2026, the amount of one-time assistance for the birth of a child has increased to UAH 50,000.
