Strikes have been carried out on strategic targets of the Russian military infrastructure

The Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of strikes on strategic targets of Russian military infrastructure, significantly reducing the offensive potential of the occupation forces.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian units struck the facilities of the Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation. It is one of the largest Russian refineries with an annual processing capacity of nearly 9 million tons of oil.

The enterprise produces over 20 types of products and supplies fuel, including jet fuel, to the Russian army. Explosions and a fire have been recorded in the target area; the extent of damage is being clarified.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed a drone storage base of the "Rubicon" unit and a fuel and lubricants transfer station on the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.

The General Staff also clarified the consequences of the previous strike on the Ryazan Oil Refinery. Primary oil processing units ELOU-AVT-4 and ELOU-AVT-6, oil product tanks, and a pipeline overpass were damaged.

"The Defense Forces will continue to take measures to undermine the offensive potential of the Russian invaders and force the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff emphasizes.
