This came after the IOC temporarily reinstated the Russian Olympic Committee’s membership and lifted some of the recommendations regarding restrictions on Russian athletes.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia’s total losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.416 million troops.
