An 18-year-old Ukrainian man, Zakhar Onyshchuk, has gone missing in Warsaw

An 18-year-old Ukrainian man, Zakhar Onyshchuk, is being sought in Poland; he has not been in contact since the evening of 29 June. His relatives are appealing to anyone who may have any information about his whereabouts to help with the search

This was reported by the boy’s godmother, Natalia Sakharchuk.

What is known about his disappearance

According to his relatives, Zakhar was last seen on the evening of 29 June at 31 Marcina Kasprzaka Street in Warsaw.

At 02:22 on 30 June, the young man rang his friend himself and sent a message asking him to call back. After that, he tried to get in touch again, but his friend did not manage to answer. Since then, all contact with Zakhar has been lost, and his phone remains unreachable.

His family emphasise that any information that might help establish his whereabouts is crucial at this time.

Zakhar’s distinguishing features

According to his family, Zakhar Onyshchuk:

  • 18 years old;
  • is about 185 cm tall.

According to his relatives, any information regarding Zakhar’s possible whereabouts could be crucial to the search. Anyone who was in the vicinity of Marcina Kasprzaka Street in Warsaw on 29–30 June, has CCTV or dashcam footage, or has any information about him, is asked to call: +48 793 368 539.
