Azerbaijan has delivered a new batch of electrical equipment for Ukraine's power system
The Republic of Azerbaijan has sent another batch of humanitarian aid consisting of electrical equipment to Ukraine. The cargo was dispatched on 27 January from the Sumgait Technology Park, according to Azerbaijani media outlet Trend.
The supply was provided by the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan on the basis of a separate order by the country's president, Ilham Aliyev. The equipment is intended to support the Ukrainian power system, which suffers regular damage as a result of Russian attacks.
Azerbaijan notes that this is not the first humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the energy sector. Previously, the country had already transferred electrical equipment to restore and stabilise energy supplies, particularly in regions affected by shelling.
