The 1,479th day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun. Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to repel attacks by Russian troops in various directions.

The 1,479th day of the Russian Federation's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. The defence forces are repelling attempts by the occupying forces to improve their position and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment.

Over the past day, 154 combat clashes were recorded.

Russian troops launched one missile strike using one missile, carried out 78 air strikes and dropped 292 guided aerial bombs. They also used 9,112 kamikaze drones. In addition, 4,231 shellings of populated areas and Ukrainian military positions were recorded, 201 of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.

The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Pokrovske, Pidhavrylivka, and Orly in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Zaporizhzhia region, Novoye Pole, Samiilivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Kopani, Rivne, Novoukrainka, Lyubytske, Novoselivka, Charivne, Rizdvyanka, and Tavriiske were hit. In the Kherson region, Odradokamyanka was hit by air strikes.

During the day, the Air Force, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck a multiple launch rocket system and another important Russian military facility.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units once. There were also 138 shellings of positions and settlements, one of which involved the use of a multiple launch rocket system. Russian aviation carried out six strikes using 14 aerial bombs.

In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defences of Ukrainian units in the direction of the settlement of Zybine.

In the Kupiansk direction, three attacks were recorded in the direction of Podoliv and Hlushevka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted seven times to break through the defences towards the settlements of Stavy, Lyman and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped eight attempts by Russian troops to advance towards Kryva Luka, Rai Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, as well as near Yampil, Zakytne and Platonivka.

No offensive actions by the enemy were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian troops carried out 28 attacks towards Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopil, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka and Sofiivka, as well as in the areas of Pleshchiivka and Rusyne Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 27 assaults in the areas of Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne, as well as in the direction of Kuchero Yar, Novooleksandrivka, Bilytske, Hryshyne, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked eight times in the areas of Rybne, Berezove, Oleksandrohrad, and Novohryhorivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, 28 attacks were recorded in the areas of Huliaipole, Mirne, and Zeleny, as well as in the direction of Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, and Olenokostiantynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, there were two combat clashes in the direction of Primorsky and in the area of Stepnogorsk.

No enemy assault operations were recorded in the Prydniprovsk direction.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there were no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups.

Ukrainian units continue to inflict losses on Russian troops and restrain their offensive actions on all sections of the front.

Over the past day, Russian troops lost 860 personnel. Seven tanks, five armoured combat vehicles, 50 artillery systems, four multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence systems, 2,071 unmanned aerial vehicles and 189 vehicles were also destroyed.
