Defence in the east: Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 82 assaults, mop-up operations continue in Pokrovsk
Defence Forces units in the area of responsibility of the ‘East’ group continue to hold back the enemy's advance. Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled 82 Russian assaults. The most tense situation is in the Pokrovsk direction, where 45 attempts to break through towards Novoye Shakhovoye, Novopavlovka and in the areas of Grishino, Chervony Liman, Rodinskoye, Mirnograd, Udachnoye, Molodetskoye and Dachnoye have been recorded.
Over the past 24 hours, 110 Russian soldiers have been killed in this section. In addition to manpower, seven vehicles and special equipment, a motorcycle, 26 drones, artillery systems and 12 enemy shelters were destroyed.
Search and assault operations are continuing in Pokrovsk, with Ukrainian units clearing the city's buildings. In neighbouring Mirnograd, defenders are holding their positions and destroying the enemy on the approaches. Additional logistics routes between cities are being organised to supply the troops.
In total, the enemy suffered the heaviest losses in the area of responsibility of the ‘East’ group over the past day — 431 occupiers. 983 drones of various types and 66 pieces of weaponry and equipment, including a tank, were destroyed.
Fire units of the missile forces and artillery carried out 1,094 combat missions. The work continues. Glory to Ukraine!
