Over the past 24 hours, 244 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Russian troops carried out the highest number of attacks in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka sectors.

The 1,602nd day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 244 combat engagements took place on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops launched one missile strike using a single missile, carried out 77 air strikes and dropped 249 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 8,673 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,903 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, 41 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck ten areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, as well as two artillery systems.

One combat engagement took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian forces carried out four air strikes, dropped 11 guided bombs and conducted 56 shelling attacks, two of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times near Vovchansk, Fyholivka, Starytsia, Lyman and in the directions of Izbytske, Zarubinka, Hoptivka, Vilcha and Okhrimivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops launched three assaults in the direction of Podoly and Holubivka. In the Lyman sector, there were six attacks in the areas of Novoselivka and Drobyshove, and in the directions of Cherneshchyna, Lyman and Ozerny.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 25 assaults in the directions of Kryva Luka, Rai Oleksandrivka, Piskunivka, and also near Riznykivka and Zakytne. In the Kramatorsk sector, three attacks were recorded in the vicinity of Nikiforivka.

On the Kostiantynivka front, Russian forces carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka and Ivanopillia.

The enemy was most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 37 assaults in the areas of Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filiya, Novooleksandrivka and in the directions of Vilne, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne, Serhiivka and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops launched four attacks near Kalynivskyi and Zlagoda. On the Huliaipole sector, 16 attacks took place in the directions of Hirky, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Charivne and Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy stormed the Defence Forces’ positions five times in the areas of Stepove and Plavni. No offensive actions were recorded in the Dnipro sector.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.

According to the General Staff, Russian forces suffered 1,120 casualties over the past day. Ukrainian forces also destroyed six tanks, one armoured fighting vehicle, 46 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence systems, three missiles, 11 ground-based robotic systems, 1,508 drones, 330 vehicles and four pieces of specialised equipment.
