Ukrainian petrol stations updated their fuel price signs on the first day of July. Although there were no fluctuations in prices, the difference between operators remains significant.

What’s happening with petrol station prices on 1 July

The start of the second month of summer brought no surprises for Ukrainian drivers, as prices at petrol stations have literally stood still over the past 24 hours.

However, the difference between prices across different chains is truly striking, as you can save up to 5 hryvnias per litre of petrol or diesel.

For example, in the regular A-95 petrol segment, the highest price is recorded at petrol stations belonging to the OKKO, WOG and SOCAR chains, where a litre costs 78.90 hryvnia. Meanwhile, ‘Ukrnafta’ offers the lowest price – 73.90 hryvnias per litre – resulting in a net difference of 5 hryvnias per litre.

As for diesel, the highest prices are at SOCAR, at 80.90 hryvnia per litre. At OKKO and WOG petrol stations, diesel is slightly cheaper at 79.90 hryvnia, whilst Ukrnafta has the lowest price at 74.90 hryvnia.

For owners of cars fitted with LPG systems, the situation also varies depending on the chosen petrol station. At OKKO, WOG and SOCAR petrol stations, the price of autogas remains steady at 41.90 hryvnias per litre, whereas at “Ukrnafta” you can fill up much more cheaply – at 39.40 hryvnia, which is 2.50 hryvnia cheaper.
