On the night of 22 December, Russian drones attacked Odesa and parts of the region. Fires broke out at critical infrastructure facilities, part of the city was left without electricity, and one person was injured

On the night of 22 December, the Russian army launched a massive drone attack on Odesa region. The aerial targets came from the Black Sea and from Mykolaiv region, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to the military, several groups of drones were moving towards Tatarbunary, Bilhorod Dnistrovskyi and directly to Odesa. The air alert in the region was declared and cancelled several times during the night, which significantly hampered the work of emergency services.

The Odesa City Military Administration reported that two strikes damaged a critical infrastructure facility in the city. As a result, part of one of the districts was temporarily left without electricity. Fires were also reported at energy facilities in the region and damage to warehouses with fertilisers and agricultural machinery.

A 30-year-old man was wounded in the attack. He was hospitalised with shrapnel injuries. Windows in the residential building were smashed.
