Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with KAB bombs: eight people were injured, including two children

On 28 June 2026, Russian forces launched a strike on Zaporizhzhia using guided aerial bombs. Eight people were injured in the attack, including two children. Doctors are currently fighting to save the life of a young boy

This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

Where did the Russian aerial bombs strike?

According to law enforcement officials, the occupying forces directed two guided aerial bombs at residential areas of the city.

One of them struck a private house where two children were present. A young boy and a teenage girl were injured. The boy’s condition is described as serious.

The second aerial bomb exploded near a block of flats. Four women and two men were injured as a result of the strike.

Damaged houses and cars

The Russian attack damaged private cars and caused a fire in some garages.

Police, rescue workers, medics, volunteers and other emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of yet another Russian war crime.
