Russian troops have attacked six regions of Ukraine; there are casualties

Over the past 24 hours and during the night of 3 June, Russian forces carried out strikes on several regions of Ukraine. There have been casualties in the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

Zaporizhzhia Region

Overnight, Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia district. The strike hit a petrol station, causing a fire.

In total, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 948 strikes on 41 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration, one person was killed and three others were injured as a result of the strikes on the Zaporizhzhia district.

Kherson region

On the night of 2 June, Russian forces attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson using drones and artillery.

An 86-year-old woman was killed in the strikes. A 73-year-old woman and five men aged 43, 50, 73, 75 and 77 sustained injuries of varying severity.

In addition, over the past 24 hours in the Kherson region, 19 people, including a child, were injured as a result of Russian aggression. Eleven multi-storey buildings and 25 private homes, a farm building, a gas pipeline, agricultural machinery and private cars were damaged.

Sumy region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have struck 36 settlements in the Sumy region. The Sumy, Shostka, Okhtyrka and Konotop districts came under fire.

In the Hlukhiv community, a 72-year-old man was killed when a drone struck a car.

A five-month-old boy was also injured when a drone struck a residential building.

Another drone struck a minibus. Five people were injured: women aged 37, 47, 58 and 63, and a 41-year-old man.

In total, one person was killed in the region and 18 others were injured, including four children.

Kharkiv region

On the morning of 3 June, Russian forces carried out strikes on the Kholodnohirskyi and Osnovyanskyi districts of Kharkiv.

According to updated reports, one woman was injured. A fire broke out at the site of the strikes. A hangar and two cars were damaged.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that rocket strikes had been recorded in the Kholodnohirskyi and Osnovyanskyi districts.

Oleg Synyegubov, head of the regional state administration, also reported that over the past 24 hours, Kharkiv and 19 other settlements in the region had come under Russian attack. A total of 11 people were injured.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 15 times using artillery and drones.

In the Nikopol district, the district centre and the communities of Marganetsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovsk and Myrivka came under attack. A private house and infrastructure facilities were damaged.

In Kam’yanske, a disused building was damaged.

In the Samarivskyi district, the enemy attacked the Hubynska community. An agricultural enterprise and a shop were damaged.

According to regional authorities, there were no casualties.

Odesa region

On the night of 3 June, Russian attack drones struck civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region.

A lorry and an office building in a car park were damaged.

Two men, aged 20 and 36, were injured. One of the victims was hospitalised.
