The Czech Republic has handed over 10 new ALTO NG training aircraft to Ukraine
The ALTO NG aircraft will ensure high-quality training for future military pilots
Ukraine has received ten new ALTO NG training aircraft thanks to the Air Force Capabilities Coalition, the Czech Government and the charity ‘Dárek pro Putina’ (‘A Gift for Putin’).

This was announced by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.

Ukrainian troops will use the new aircraft to practise basic and advanced piloting, navigation, and take-off and landing procedures in accordance with NATO standards.

The Ministry of Defence says that training on ALTO NG light aircraft will significantly reduce the cost per flying hour compared to flights on combat aircraft and speed up cadets’ transition to Western equipment.

Five aircraft were donated to Ukraine by the Czech government, and a further five were provided as aid by Czech citizens through the Dárek pro Putina charitable foundation.
