According to Zagoriy, for safety reasons, the company is not yet disclosing information about the nature of the damage and its consequences until the relevant authorities have completed their work.
“For safety reasons and until the relevant authorities have completed their work, we are not commenting on the details regarding the nature of the damage or its consequences. At this stage, we can confirm that there are no fatalities or injuries among the staff, and the plant will continue to operate,” she said.
What is known about the night-time attack
As previously reported by The Public, on the night of 29 June, Russian forces launched a ballistic strike on Kyiv.
Air defence forces shot down the enemy targets, but debris was reported to have fallen in the Darnytskyi district. The attack caused fires at several locations, including near a residential building, at a vehicle service station and in a non-residential building.
