Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,200 troops. The Ukrainian Defence Forces have also destroyed nine tanks, five air defence systems and other enemy military equipment.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published updated figures on combat losses suffered by Russian troops.

According to the General Staff, between 24 February 2022 and 7 July 2026, the Russian Federation’s total military losses amounted to approximately 1,412,250 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,200 personnel.

Also over the past day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed nine tanks, five armoured fighting vehicles, 57 artillery systems, five air defence systems, 15 ground-based robotic systems, 2,129 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 37 cruise missiles, 399 vehicles and tankers, as well as five pieces of specialised equipment.

In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 12,097 tanks, 24,899 armoured fighting vehicles, 45,508 artillery systems, 1,917 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,478 air defence systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,848 ground-based robotic systems, 394,846 operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 4,887 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 117,085 motor vehicles and tankers, and 4,394 units of specialised equipment.

The General Staff noted that the figures are subject to revision.
