Ukraine’s Constitution Day: Zelenskyy and Budanov sent their best wishes to Ukrainians

Zelenskyy: Ukrainians give meaning to the Constitution every day
Volodymyr Zelenskyy recalled that this year Ukraine is marking the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the independent state.
According to the President, it is the Ukrainians who give strength to the Constitution – those who defend the country every day, work for its development and continue to write the modern history of Ukraine.
“Our people are writing the pages of our history, and it is they who fill the pages of our Constitution with life – through their example, their deeds, their labour and their struggle for Ukraine,” Zelenskyy noted.
The President also emphasised that Ukraine has been and remains a sovereign, democratic, law-based, European and independent state.
Budanov: The Constitution has become the foundation of Ukraine’s resilience
Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov noted that the Constitution of Ukraine has remained the country’s Basic Law for 30 years, and today, in the context of a full-scale war, it also forms the basis of the country’s security framework.
According to him, Ukraine’s strength lies in the unity of its society and the people who defend the state every day.
“We have proven that when the very existence of the nation is under threat, it is our humanity that becomes our greatest weapon. We are fighting for the right to be ourselves,” Budanov emphasised.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence thanked the military, law enforcement officers, rescue workers and all Ukrainians who, through their daily efforts, are strengthening the state’s defences and bringing victory closer.
