Debris from an Iranian missile fell 30 metres from the Ukrainian embassy in Israel
This was reported in a post on X by Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiga.
Andriy Sybiga stated that on the morning of 31 March, fragments of an Iranian cluster missile fell approximately 30 metres from the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel.
According to him, visitors were inside at the time, so none of them were injured.
The minister emphasised that this incident proves once again that the Iranian regime poses a threat to everyone in the region.
“It shows no respect not only for the Vienna Convention, but also for the fundamental norms of human life,” Sibiga noted.
The Foreign Minister also stressed that it is important to unite to protect lives from such terror. He added that Ukraine is already making its contribution, and pressure on the regimes in Tehran and Moscow must be constantly increased.
What is known about Iran’s new strikes and Israel’s response
Ukrinform also reported that the Israeli military announced new strikes on targets in Tehran after recording seven missile salvos fired from Iran during the day.
Separately, the agency noted that on 28 February, the US and Israel carried out joint strikes on regime targets in Iran.
Following this, Iran attacked US bases in Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan.
It should be recalled that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran had twice attempted to assassinate US President Donald Trump. Moreover, these attempts are ongoing.
