The cost of renting one-room apartments has increased in almost all cities of Ukraine

Real estate in Odessa is rapidly becoming more expensive throughout 2025, with the cost of both rent and purchase increasing. Over the past 6 months, renting a one-room apartment has become 55% more expensive, now costing 13,200 hryvnias per month.
Prices for one-room apartments in Ternopil have surged by 41% — up to 14,800 hryvnias; in Cherkasy — by 38% to 13,800 hryvnias; in Poltava — by 28%, now such housing costs 11,500 hryvnias.
One-room apartments in Vinnytsia have increased in price by 26%, now renting for 14,500 hryvnias. The cost has risen by the same amount in Uzhgorod to 21,100 hryvnias. This city is setting a record for the price of one-room apartments in Ukraine.
The top three also include Kyiv and Lviv. In the capital, rent has increased by 21% over half a year — now, one-room apartments are rented on average for 20,000 hryvnias, and in Lviv — for 18,700 hryvnias, with prices rising by 10% here.
Over the past half-year, the cost of renting one-room apartments has not changed in 4 cities:
- Chernivtsi - 14,700 hryvnias;
- Chernihiv - 7,200 hryvnias;
- Sums - 8,000 hryvnias;
- Kharkiv - 4,000 hryvnias.
