The Economic Security Bureau will spend nearly a quarter of a million hryvnias on the purchase of satin scarves, eco-friendly bags, and souvenir products. The supplier of these goods will be a Kyiv-based sole proprietor and his companies.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Digital Transformation has published its conclusion on draft law 14270-1, which proposes to oblige the Economic Security Bureau to publish its annual report on its official website and on the Unified State Web Portal of Open Data.

Following searches at the Volyn customs office, one person involved in the NABU corruption case resigned, while another took parental leave. This was announced by the head of the agency, Dmytro Stasenko.

Following investigative actions by NABU detectives at the Lutsk Volyn Customs post, two individuals involved in the case no longer work at the agency. One of them resigned, while the other went on maternity leave.

The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine was established as a fundamentally new analytical body designed to put an end to the era of "mask shows" and coercive pressure on business. According to the Law of Ukraine "On the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine," the main objective of the institution is to counteract economic offences through analytics, prevention, and risk management.

The head of the Yar.VAL, Vice-President of the All-Ukrainian Public Organisation of Taxpayers, Yosyp Buchynsky, stated that official statistics for the second half of 2025 show that ESBU detectives referred only 12% of criminal proceedings related to tax evasion to court, with 100% of these cases being used to put pressure on businesses.
