Poroshenko has declared over 52.5 million hryvnias in income from the Hungarian Ministry of Finance
In 2025, Petro Poroshenko declared over 52.5 million hryvnias in income from the Hungarian Ministry of Finance. The figures are contained in his annual declaration, published in the NACP register, reports Ukranews.
According to the document, 51.8 million UAH came from bond redemptions, with a further 720,904 UAH accrued as interest. The total amount of income from the Hungarian side is 52.538 million UAH.
The declaration also states that on 5 November 2025, Petro Poroshenko invested approximately 14.5 million UAH in Hungarian government bonds.
It was previously reported that Petro Poroshenko had received funds from the Hungarian Ministry of Finance prior to this. Before his previous trip to Hungary, he declared over 37 million UAH in such receipts.
It is also noted that attention has recently been focused on the Hungarian government. According to available information, Hungarian officials passed on internal European Union information to the Russian side and coordinated actions to block Ukraine’s European integration processes.
In particular, it is stated that Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov gave instructions to Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjártó regarding the blocking of Ukraine’s membership of the European Union.
