Child benefits and "yeYasla" payments will be received by 2 March – Ministry of Social Policy
This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy.
According to the minister, the calculations have already been completed, and the funds will be transferred to card accounts today or, at the latest, on Monday.
Ulyutin noted that accounts are automatically opened for all applicants at Oschadbank. Currently, 65,000 accounts have been opened, after which the funds will be transferred.
He also said that the ministry is working with other banks to enable the opening of such accounts, which are linked to certain categories of goods.
In November last year, the Verkhovna Rada adopted Law No. 13532 "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Support for Families with Children and the Creation of Conditions Conducive to Combining Parenthood with Professional Activity."
The document provides for a monthly payment of 7,000 hryvnias in childcare assistance for children under one year of age. For children with disabilities, the payment is increased by a factor of 1.5 and amounts to 10,500 hryvnias.
Under the "yeYasla" programme for children aged 1 to 3, a monthly payment of UAH 8,000 is provided for families in which one or both parents have returned to work.
Earlier, the Pension Fund reported that delays in processing the increased payments from 1 January were due to the large number of applications submitted.
