The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its condolences to Kyiv following the tragic shooting
The Estonian Foreign Minister, Margus Tsahkna, posted a statement to this effect on his social media accounts.
Tallinn’s reaction
Margus Tsahkna strongly condemned the attack on civilians in the capital and emphasised his support for Ukraine.
“There is no justification for violence against civilians. My thoughts are with all those who are grieving and those who are recovering. I wish Ukraine strength at this painful time,” the minister said.
He also expressed his hope for the speedy recovery of all those injured in the “horrific shooting”.

Estonia remains one of Ukraine’s closest allies. The swift response from the country’s Foreign Ministry underscores the international community’s solidarity with Kyiv amid the extraordinary events in the capital.
