Nawrocki: Poland's position during the signing of the peace agreement will be decisive
Polish President Karol Navrotsky said that Warsaw's position at the time of signing a peace agreement on Ukraine will be crucial, as more than 90% of international aid for Kyiv passes through Poland.
This was reported by the Office of the President of Poland in social network X following a teleconference of European leaders with the President of the United States Donald Trump and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During the conversation, they discussed the progress of peace negotiations and ways to end the war started by the Russian Federation.
Navrotsky stressed that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Rzeszów Jasinka Airport has become the main logistics hub for the supply of aid to Ukraine, with more than nine-tenths of all cargo passing through it. That is why, according to him, Poland's participation in the formation and implementation of peace agreements is critically important.
The Office of the President of the Republic of Poland also stressed that any decisions on peace and security in the region should be made with the participation of all stakeholders. They noted that the US determination and the unity of European countries create a real chance for the end of the war and the formation of a stable security system in Europe.
