Pro-Russian Telegram channels are threatening attacks against Ukrainian businesses in response to strikes on Wildberries’ warehouses
In particular, the channels ‘Resident’, ‘Observer’ and ‘Legitimate’ reported on this.
Ukraine first struck Wildberries’ warehouses on the night of 18 July 2026. Following this, the Russians struck the infrastructure of major Ukrainian businesses on several occasions. Specifically, on the night of 25 July, the occupiers struck a ‘Nova Poshta’ terminal in Sumy — three drivers were killed — and on the evening of 27 July, they attacked a terminal in the village of Korotych in the Kharkiv region. On the morning of 26 July, the occupiers struck the only ‘Epicentre’ store in Kryvyi Rih – no one was injured.
However, such facilities had been targeted by the Russians even before the strikes on Wildberries.
The analytical portal ‘Slovo i Dilo’ has calculated that, since the start of the full-scale war, enemy forces have struck ‘Nova Poshta’ facilities approximately 70 times. The highest number of attacks occurred in 2025 — over 30. In the first seven months of 2026, there were over 20 such strikes. Most often, the Russians targeted terminals (sorting centres). In particular, four employees were killed during a missile strike in Kharkiv on 13 January, and four were injured in Zaporizhzhia on 17 March.
According to Forbes Ukraine, the ‘Epicentre’ in Kryvyi Rih is the tenth shopping centre in the chain to have been destroyed since 2022.
The occupiers have destroyed ‘Epicentre’ shopping centres in Chernihiv, Bucha, Nikopol, Kharkiv, Kamianske and Kherson. Fourteen shopping centres have been damaged, and one (in Melitopol) has been under occupation since 2022. The Russians have also destroyed the company’s logistics hub in the Kyiv region. Among the most recent incidents: on 26 February 2026, the occupiers damaged the ‘Epicentre’ in Zaporizhzhia. The total area of the chain’s destroyed, damaged and occupied premises amounts to almost 660,000 m².
