Russian attack damaged Philip Morris tobacco factory in Kharkiv region
As a result of a night attack by Russian troops, part of the Kharkiv factory of the Philip Morris tobacco company was damaged. This was reported by the press service of the enterprise. Rescue services are working at the site of the strike, and firefighting operations are ongoing. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties, as all personnel on duty were in shelters. In addition, on the morning of 30 January, Russian occupation forces launched a missile strike on a warehouse building of a civilian enterprise in the suburbs of Kharkiv. A large-scale fire broke out, covering an area of more than 5,000 square metres, and causing damage to the building structures. According to preliminary information, no one was injured.
More than 80 rescuers and about 20 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service, including a pyrotechnic team and firefighters from the local fire brigade in the village of Rohan, were involved in dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
