Russia has attacked a number of regions in Ukraine over the past 24 hours; there have been fatalities and dozens of people have been injured

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have attacked several regions of Ukraine. The regions hardest hit were Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Sumy and Chernihiv.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have continued their intensive attacks on Ukrainian regions, striking residential areas, infrastructure and civilian targets.

Zaporizhzhia region
: Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 975 strikes on 56 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

As a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, three people were killed and a further 18 were injured. There were also 95 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure.

Kherson region
In the Kherson region, 49 settlements came under enemy fire.

Eleven people were injured as a result of the Russian attacks, including three children. A block of flats, eight private homes, mobile phone masts, a farm, gas pipelines, farm buildings, an ambulance and private vehicles were damaged.

Donetsk region
In the Donetsk region, Russian troops wounded four civilians over the past 24 hours.

Sumy Region
Overnight in Sumy, a Russian ‘Molniya’ UAV struck a car park in the Kovpakivskyi district, causing a fire.

Four lorries and a farm building are reported to have been damaged.

In the morning, Russian troops struck a petrol station in the Zarichne district of the city. Damage was recorded.

Several strikes on infrastructure facilities were also recorded in Sumy. Emergency services extinguished the fires and inspected the impact sites. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Chernihiv Oblast
In Chernihiv Oblast, two people were injured as a result of a strike by a Russian drone.

In the Chernihiv district, a lorry trailer caught fire after being struck by a drone. In the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, dry grass was burning at the site of the strike.

A 67-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman were injured. All fires have been extinguished.

Kharkiv region
Over the past 24 hours, Kharkiv and a further 29 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian attack.

Four people were killed and a further 24 were injured as a result of the attacks.

Russian shelling continues to cause damage to civilian infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population in various regions of Ukraine.
