The Ring named the best boxers of the XXI century Usyk in the top four
The Ring magazine has presented an updated ranking of the best P4P boxers in the 21st century. Floyd Mayweather, an American ex-champion in five weight categories, took the top spot with a record of 50 wins without defeat. Manny Pacquiao came in second, and Terence Crawford was third.
Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles, was ranked fourth. Vasyl Lomachenko, a three-division champion, rounded out the top eight.
The top 10 also included Naoya Inoue, Roman Gonzalez, Bernard Hopkins, Andre Ward and Saul Alvarez.
In July, Usyk knocked out Daniel Dubois to become the absolute world heavyweight champion for the second time, becoming the first boxer since Muhammad Ali to achieve this feat. In November, he relinquished the WBO title and temporarily lost the status of absolute champion to the new titleholder, the British Fabio Wardley.
