Israel assesses high probability of Iranian missile response
This was reported by The Jerusalem Post.
According to sources, the likelihood of Iran responding with missile launches within a few hours is increasing.
It is noted that one of the goals of the strikes was to eliminate threats to Israel's rear, in particular missile launchers and bases used to control unmanned aerial vehicles.
The report states that the strikes are expanding to additional locations in Iran, including Qom, Isfahan, Kermanshah and Karaj.
The Israel Defence Forces continued to redeploy forces to bases and command headquarters. The Central Command was reinforced with five companies, and the level of combat readiness at the borders was increased due to fears of attempted attacks.
There has also been increased helicopter activity over Israeli territory as forces are moved between locations.
