The 112 MVS app, costing 3 million hryvnia, has received complaints from users.
This was reported by Informator.
The 112 app was launched in December to connect citizens with emergency services — police, rescue workers, medics, and gas services. The service allows users to call the single number 112 via the internet.
The cost of creating the mobile app was 2 million 949 thousand 900 hryvnias. It was developed by the IT company Stfalcon, which is also involved in the technical development of the 112 emergency call system.
According to Google Play, the app has been installed by over 100,000 users. In the app store, the average rating is 2.7 out of 5 on Android and 3.5 out of 5 in the App Store. Users have left hundreds of reviews, many of which contain comments about the service's performance.
The main complaints include difficulties with authorisation via BankID, unstable performance, and limited functionality. Currently, the app only allows users to call 112 via the internet, after which the operator forwards the information to the appropriate emergency services.
In addition, the app only works when connected to the internet, which limits its use when there is no network access. For more information about the service and user reviews, see the Informator article.
