OLX is launching a property search platform in Ukraine
Otodim: a platform for finding accommodation in Ukraine
The OLX Group’s online marketplace has launched a pilot version of Otodim, a property search platform in Ukraine, with a focus on artificial intelligence tools.

This is according to Interfax-Ukraine.

“People continue to buy, rent and invest in property. Our goal at Otodim is to simplify the property search process using AI tools and make it safer and more efficient,” said Jay P. Farinha, General Manager of the real estate division at OLX Group.

According to the report, Otodim focuses exclusively on property. On the platform’s website, users can select the type of property offered for sale – flats, houses, plots or commercial premises – and for rent – rooms, flats, houses or commercial property.

Listings on the platform are generated based on data from OLX, which is further processed using artificial intelligence. It is noted that AI structures the information, improves the quality of descriptions and makes the search more user-friendly.

At the same time, some listings may appear on both OLX and Otodim simultaneously. During the trial period, the company will collect user feedback and plans to launch new features and additional tools to personalise the search experience.

According to OLX, the number of active users on the platform in Ukraine has already recovered to 92% of pre-war levels, the number of active sellers to 99%, and user engagement with property listings has increased by 12% year-on-year.
