Аналітики повідомили про корекцію ринку кукурудзи в Україні
This was reported by The Public with reference to Spike Brokers analysts.
According to analysts, more than half of Ukrainian corn exports are supplied to the MENA region, where about 1 million tonnes of products were delivered. Another 880,000 tonnes were exported to European Union countries.
Turkey remains the largest importer, purchasing 733,000 tonnes of Ukrainian corn. This accounts for almost 38% of total exports. This structure indicates dependence on a limited number of markets.
According to analysts, traders continue to seek demand in foreign markets, bypassing the spot segment to reduce the current pressure on margins.
Sales on CIF terms with delivery in April–May indicate expectations of prices falling below $205 CPT. According to analysts, the current market situation is not conducive to further price growth.
At the same time, the price of corn on a CPT-port basis according to the SPIKE Spot Index ended the week with its first decline and stood at $212 per tonne, which is $1 less than the previous indicator and almost $4 below the maximum level in the last two weeks.
Demand remains stable on the western border. Prices at €180–183 on FCA Chop terms with delivery in March–April remain unchanged. Logistics through western crossings are operating without restrictions.
