The Ukrainian Defence Forces have carried out strikes on a number of key Russian military targets. Among those hit were the bridge across the Henichesk Strait, which the occupiers were using for logistics, and the ‘Pantsir-S’ anti-aircraft missile and gun system

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

What is known about the strike on the bridge near Henichesk

According to the General Staff, on the night of 20 June 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck a road bridge across the Henichesk Strait near Henichesk in the Kherson region.

This structure was of vital importance to Russian military logistics, as it was used to link the temporarily occupied Crimea with Russian military formations in southern Ukraine.

What other Russian targets did the Ukrainian Defence Forces strike?

In addition, in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Ukrainian military struck a Russian ‘Pantsir-S’ anti-aircraft missile and gun system.

According to the General Staff, the system was hit near the village of Dolynske.

The Defence Forces also attacked command centres for Russian drones. Strikes were carried out on targets in the following areas:

  • Soledar in the Donetsk region;
  • Grozove in the Zaporizhzhia region;
  • Terebreno in the Belgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation.

The General Staff emphasised that the Ukrainian military continues to undermine the Russian army’s ability to conduct combat operations against Ukraine.
