In Kharkiv, a man injured someone with a shard of a bottle and assaulted passers-by

What happened in Kharkiv
According to law enforcement officials, the incident took place on 20 June at around 17:30 in the Kholodnohirskyi district.
It has been provisionally established that a 22-year-old man, originally from Cherkasy, entered a kiosk and attacked a man. According to the police, he used a shard of a broken bottle to inflict cuts on the victim. The attacker then punched the kiosk saleswoman in the head.
Attacked a passer-by whilst fleeing
After the incident, the man attempted to leave the scene. Whilst fleeing, he also kicked an elderly woman in the face as she was passing by. All those injured are receiving the necessary medical attention.
Investigators have located the attacker and detained him. The issue of detaining the man under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine is currently being considered.
What the attacker faces
Law enforcement officers are considering whether to enter the details into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. The preliminary legal classification is Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). The penalty under this article provides for up to seven years’ imprisonment. Investigations are ongoing, and law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
