The Lviv region leads the way in Ukraine in terms of the number of industrial parks and the development of green energy
This is reported on the website of the Lviv Regional Military Administration
According to Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the region leads the way in terms of the number of registered industrial parks — there are currently 17, which are expected to create over 28,000 jobs in the future.
Particular attention is being paid to energy independence. There are already 144 renewable energy facilities (537 MW) operating in the Lviv region, and over 4,000 households have installed their own solar power stations. In 2026, it is planned to launch a further 62 facilities with a capacity of over 300 MW.
Special programmes are in place to support business in the region:
-
22 million UAH — for the modernisation of equipment and the development of livestock farming in the agricultural sector.
-
47 million UAH — to support veteran-owned businesses and the production of goods for the Defence Forces.
“The priority is to create stable conditions for investors. An important factor is the state mechanisms for insuring against military risks, which strengthen confidence in the region,” emphasised Maksym Kozytskyi.
