All in one click: Ukraine has launched a ‘Map of Opportunities’ for internally displaced persons
‘Unity for Action’
Looking for work or funding for a business venture after relocating often turns into an endless search across a multitude of websites. To address this issue, the ‘Unity for Action’ programme has launched the ‘Opportunities Map’ – a single digital hub bringing together the latest opportunities for internally displaced persons

This is reported on the website of the "Unity for Action" project

What is the ‘Map of Opportunities’?

It is an interactive online tool that brings together information on employment, training and financial support. Internally displaced persons can now filter requests by region, support format (online/offline) or type of initiative. Each offer on the map includes a detailed description and a direct link for registration.

Key areas of support:

  • Employment and business: This section brings together not only job vacancies but also grant schemes for starting your own business, preferential loans and mentoring support for budding entrepreneurs.

  • Education and development: A category for those seeking change. Here you can find retraining courses, information on government education vouchers, scholarships and professional development programmes.

Call for collaboration

The platform operates on the principle of openness. The developers are calling on socially responsible businesses, charitable foundations and educational institutions to submit their proposals via the special ‘Suggest an Opportunity’ form. This will help make the database as comprehensive and useful as possible.

Why is this important?

Instead of bureaucracy and a chaotic search, IDPs are given a clear step-by-step guide: choose a region — find an opportunity — submit an application. This saves a significant amount of time and provides practical tools for settling into new communities.

Dozens of reposts by Tsyvinskyi instead of charges: how is the ESBU case against Telegram channels with a million subscribers progressing?

Six months after the opening of criminal proceedings against a number of Telegram channels, detectives from the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU) had still not announced any charges. Instead, the number of posts on these platforms concerning the director of the Economic Security Bureau has risen significantly, and their tone has changed dramatically: from accusations that Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi was working for hostile intelligence services to his being quoted extensively.
