The Security Service of Ukraine has announced that it has uncovered a case involving the deputy chair of the Odesa Regional Council, who is suspected of extorting 50,000 US dollars from a local businessman. According to the investigation, two other individuals were also involved in the scheme.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have struck 12 Russian tankers
On the night of 9 July, the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out strikes against a number of Russian military and military-economic targets. The strikes targeted vessels in the Sea of Azov, an oil terminal in the Rostov region and an ammunition depot in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.
