What Nawrocki said about Ukraine
The Polish President emphasised that his decision is not directed against the Ukrainian people and does not signify a change in Warsaw’s position regarding support for Ukraine. He noted that Russia remains the aggressor, and Poland continues to support Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity. At the same time, Nawrocki stated that Warsaw would defend its own historical memory and oppose the glorification of individuals whom Poland associates with crimes against the Polish population.
